Easy Experiment With Light Refraction

I don't know about you all but it seems we haven't had a lot of luck with our homeschool

experiments.  So now that we've had some success I figured I would share the wealth.

Fill a clear baking dish with water.  You will also need a little mirror.
This is one I broke off some old make-up powder that I had.

The mirror must be submerged in order for the rainbow of colors to appear.

Presto, the light is broken up in to a beautiful surprise.  Don' t you just love how God hid the colors in sunlight!
